You're the ANGEL in my heart, MUM

It's not uncommon in this modern and fast paced society that we often fail to appreciate the ppl that are dear to us..the person who nags at us everyday when we dont get up from the bed even though after they had screamed the umpteenth time, when we dont clear our dirty laundry from the room, when we consistently mess up the house etc..is also the person who takes care of our meals, washes our laundry, stays up late just to wait for us to reach home safely, stays by our side when we need a shoulder to cry on....the person whom im referring to is none other than, our dear Mother.....(Dad pls dont take offence, i will write abt you too soon ok??)

i've had my fair share of stories of ppl who has a mother, but being left by her when they are still young, ppl who want to have a mother, but being cared by ill step-mother instead and also ppl who has a great, loving mother, but took her for granted instead...i know, i too have my fair share of those times when i had somehow in one way or another, made my mother sad or offended...i did have a glitch with her, few years back, we had different opinions on a particular matter...i knew it made her sad, but i didnt want to give in either....in the end, when the truth came to light, i realised, that mum only had my best interest at heart...and i admit, i felt really bad, so bad that i even hate myself for making her feel sad on those times...i vowed, that i will not repeat my mistakes to her, and am always concious of what i say or do, coz i dont want to offend her anymore...

Mother, in my own words, is someone, who had made great sacrifices for others and who has the heaviest responsibilities than any president of any country...never forget, she's the one who gave birth to us, takes care of us, since we were born, till we grow up. Even when we have our own families, she never fails to care for us. Not only is she a mum, she's also a wife to her husband and daughter to her parents...its no easy task being a mother, she has enough problems to worry about, enough tasks for her to carry out...and as such, she should be given the utmost respect by her children...and please, lets not add another burden on her, by being one of the problems she's facing...one of the things that would make a mother truly HAPPY, is to see her children happy being with her, show her our love, care and concern..

For those of us, who had never really showed them our love, please, do something about it...if you have never hug or kiss her and say thanks for the things she does for you, do it, before its too late....u never know, when will be the last time you will see her...don't try to wait for the next Mother's Day, coz u never know, TODAY might just be the last time you see her....

Mum, I LOVE YOU....You will always be the ANGEL in my heart that no one can replace.....
